It was a crazy house at American Quilting today for the last month of Saturday Sampler! As always, the quilt turned out ADORABLE!

You have several options for how to finish your quilt:

This is the way Amy envisioned the finished product, with the appliqued letters (which you can purchase):

Another option is to embroider the alphabet on (notice on these two pictures she also chose to use the same navy blue binding fabric as a border for some of her blocks to tie them together instead of the gray):

Or you can choose to leave the alphabet off:

In all three options, the blocks are organized the same and the quilt layout is the same the only difference is in the filler squares. You can choose to use more navy blue on the front (to match the binding, you should have enough extra fabric) or you can follow the instructions as given. It’s up to you!

Here are some options for the back:

On this one our store employee embroidered all the names of the blocks on to the back

She also did duplicates of some of the blocks to tie the back to the front, did ABC lettering, and made a label.

I hope you survived the crowds and love the finished product as much as I do!

i am working on the the ABC quilt block no. 3 and I found that the friendship block should be 4 1/2 in. not 4 like the instructions say.

I loved the embroidered lettering. My Aunt, that does machine embroidery, did all my letters. If you want someone to do yours, call Claudia, if you choose the same font I did she can do all 26 for $35. I love this quilt, Amy you are fantastic!!
