I just cut out all of my blocks for December. I found that on about four of them I didn’t have enough for the twelfth cut especially with the white fabric. I knew it would be close so I was extremely careful when I squared up the white strips and cut the two square pieces. But I still didn’t have enough. At first I thought it might not be a big deal because we are going to be making hexies right? But then on the last couple there honestly was just not enough to even cut most of the piece. This might be confusing. What are your suggestions? Has anyone else reported the same thing? Thanks!

In the video, she says to cut the squares in opposite directions, but the directions in the kit this month don’t say that. If she recommends it as a rule of thumb to do, why is it not on the directions originally. I had already cut my strips down and the squares into triangles, before I saw the video. I would like to have done that, but being a beginner, don’t know these things.

I am working on my pinwheels for Saturday Sampler. And my centers are about 1 and a quarter inches in diameter. Are they too big? I have really been watching my seam allowances. They lay flat and look OK.Will the appliqué cover the hole? What should I do? Thanks so much. Carol Benson

I am not able to get the tutorial video. I have tried on two different days. Any suggestions?

Thank you so much for these videos! I missed the class over the holidays, and am so grateful for the tutorial online, so I can get caught up!
