Are you all caught up on your Saturday Sampler? I’ll admit I fell behind for a few months there (having a baby does that to you!) but I am all caught up! Yahoo!

This month’s kit looks like lots of fun!

A few things:

It has come to our attention that there might be some confusion when cutting the blue background material for this month’s block. If you look at the instructions on the 1st page, they say to cut the last 2 pieces, 8 x 10 and 9 x 10. This is right, but make sure that you cut the 8 inches 1st and then the 9 inches next. The strip is about 10 inches wide so you already have that measurement. A few people tried to cut those last 2 pieces 10 inches wide 1st and then sub-cut and that doesn’t work. The only reason you might do this is because the 1st few cuts are done with the long cut 1st and then the short.
-The very last page in the last paragraph it says to keep track of the blue background piece that you already cut. This background piece was already cut to 7″ tall by 15″ wide and it should stay this way. Do not cut it down to 7 x 14. You will use this piece later.
Thanks for letting us clarify a few things. Have a great time making this block. It is soooo cute!

9 3/4 inches will be just fine because your house is only 9 1/2 inches tall.
