Our Favorite Things class is getting to closer to wrapping up their adorable quilt filled with blocks and blocks of all their favorite things!  This month they’re working on blocks of “Piecing together a quilt” (go figure!) and a “Fresh raspberry shake.”

imageimage_1Also this month the teachers wanted to showcase some other options of previous blocks they’ve completed— the “Old wooden chair” block can be done as a wooden rocking chair.  And instead of doing the old wooden chair block at all, one class member created their own temple block (both shown below.)  Love the customization this quilt allows to make it your own!

The Piecing Together A Quilt is adorable! I live out-of-state … is this pattern available to me? Does it come in a kit with all the cute fabrics I see in the picture on your website?

    Thank you!

That block pattern and the rest of the quilt is found in Hatched and Patched’s book “Some Kind of Wonderful.” We have sold out of the copies we had ordered for the store, but I have found it’s still available online through various websites. Our kits and books have all been claimed for by those participating in the My Favorite Things class.
